Friday 31st July 
The judges for Beautiful Scotland will visit the Old Kirk as one of the brief stops on their town centre tour. We are hoping that the constant watering in this warm weather will prove its worth in making our environment colourful and attractive to set off the oldest building in Kirkcaldy in continuous use. Watch this space for the results in due course of time!

Wednesday 4th August, 7.30pm
A musical week with Fife Opera's Gala Concert, marking their 50 years as an organisation. A range of numbers from shows and operas and popular music will take your breath away with its depth and fine voices. The performance will include soloist guests from previous years singing with the company, such as Ronald and Christopher Nairne, Jasmine Munns and Connor Smith, all of whom have made a name for themselves nationally in opera as soloists.

Saturday 8th August, 12 noon 
Alison Malcolm returns to Kirkcaldy Old Kirk to give an Organ Recital on our wonderful Gern organ. Alison came to Scotland in 2021 from Wiltshire, loves it  and is now President of Tayside Organists.  Alison is a wonderful player and now plays the organ for Bendochy and Coupar Angus Abbey churches. Her recital will be followed as usual by a buffet lunch for those who can stay to talk with her about her choice of pieces and her love for playing the organ. Entry is free but donations are welcome, with a suggested minimum of £10.

From Wednesday 26th August, afternoons 
Tea and Tunes is returning for an extended seven months of top-class music with afternoon tea to follow! These friendly events feature performances by outstandingly talented young musicians followed by a cuppa and cake and the chance to meet and chat with them.
Donations are very welcome. More details to follow.
